An intensive Italian course is designed for students who want to dedicate a significant part of their stay in Rome to learning and practising Italian. At Dilit, the Intensive Italian Course includes 25 lessons per week, combining daily group lessons with additional lessons in smaller groups twice a week. This gives students more opportunities to practise Italian and develop their communication skills.
The course includes 25 Italian lessons per week. Students attend 20 group lessons from Monday to Friday in the morning, plus five additional lessons divided into two small-group afternoon sessions. Each lesson lasts 45 minutes.
Yes. The course is available for all levels, from absolute beginners to advanced students. Students are assessed on arrival and placed in a class according to their Italian level and learning needs. Absolute beginners can start on specific starting dates, while students who already know some Italian can start on any Monday.
You can attend the course for as little as one week or continue studying for up to 32 weeks. This makes it suitable both for students visiting Rome for a short period and for those planning a longer Italian language study experience.
Morning group lessons take place from Monday to Friday, from 9:00 am to 12:20 pm, including a 20-minute break. Twice a week, students also attend small-group lessons from 1:30 pm to 3:25 pm.
The course fee includes tuition and teaching materials, with the exception of the mandatory course book, which is purchased separately at the school. An enrolment fee is also required and is valid for all Dilit courses and programmes for 12 months.
No. You can enrol even if you have never studied Italian before. The course covers all language levels, including absolute beginners, and students are placed in an appropriate class after their level has been assessed.
